Wahine's expose themselves out in the surf line-up at the HB Cliff's

Holy Shit Batman! 

Seal Beach Tears one off for the record books!  As I was making my rounds, I would be remiss if I did not stop by the place where I started my surfing life.  Back before the sand berm, the new pier, back when the sphinx watched over us.  I just had to stop and take another glance!  Immediately it took me back to the days before the thruster.  It is still the same o'l story, the west swells sneaking in between Catalina and Point Fermin to focus their wrath on the front row houses on the south side.  But boy can tune up your tube riding.  This is the only place on earth where you can get so deep in the tube that you literally are battling back the whitewater in side the tube to stay ahead of it.  Now that is deep.  I still find myself looking for the string on the light bulb.  Mike used to crack up when reminiscing about the tube rides we used to get, especially the winter of '82 & '83.

The HB Cliff's declared a HB "city treasure which need to be preserved"

As your heading back up the cliffs, stop and take another glance, be thankful for what you have, remember the friends we have lost, the less fortunate than us and the memorable days to come.

I would like to thank everyone thus far.  It is difficult to shoot the action, take my gear home, grab my board and get my session in and then download, review and then post the photos. I am working diligently on shortening my lead time so you all can get your photos. 

Wow, the surf and weather has been really crappy!  You might want to try Bolsa Chica;)  Looky there, I can see San Pedro from my house.

PS. Extend your hand in friendship never in want. 

• Don't saw off others surfers already on the wave.

• When paddling for a set wave and you ain't "Got It" Tell the surfer next to you so they can have a shot :0

• When paddling out, "Don't get in the way" of the surfers surfing on-coming waves or ruin their line...

In other words, "Take Some Gas" i.e....punch through the white water, instead of trying to make it over the face of the wave, for a fellow surfers. 

This facilitates the traffic flow and enhances everyone's surf session.

Don't take offense, If you don't understand, maybe you should surf somewhere else until you can keep yourself and the other surfers in the line-up safe!
